The Dissapointing Start

Welcome to the big city, you just moved out of your parents' house and joined a childhood friend in glamorous NYC.

We all start somewhere in life, don't we? You start out in an aweful apartment across the street from a motel that's probably lice and cockroach infected and all the weirdos and criminals of town are livin' there. You are probably the only girl in a gross apartment complex where they don't even take care of maintaining the place in livable conditions. I mean, look at the bathroom! It's got mold growing on the walls, and the old carpets? Everything looks like it has the bacteria from who knows when and of who knows who.

While you are living in this trash can, your childhood friend lives in this two story palace. To make it worse she says your apartment is cute. Makes you feel pissed and regretting from the beginning.

Despite the already aweful circumstances you find yourself, your friend Jenna forces you to waste nearly all your money on a crappy second hand looking sofa.

So I started out with 500 bucks and I bought the cheapest sofa I could find for 125 bucks and now I'm nearly broke with 395 bucks remaining. Not enough to even sustain myself for a week with all the struggle of getting used to the "New" city life.

Oh and now I have to waste some more money on a boutique.

Yeah, really? Thanks a bunch Jenna!

  1. From Playdom, Disney City Girl is an online game, like the Sims game, but targeted for women. The basic premise of the story is you are a small town girl who is newly graduated from college. You are looking for a City Girl Life change. Being completely doe-eyed, fresh faced, and innocent, you plan on making your change in the big city. Which big city, you ask? Where else? New York City, the city that never sleeps and the place for dreamers and artists.
